Maureen was born and raised in the East End of Long Island, New York when the first winery was in its infancy. Now the East End is a thriving and renowned wine region. Maureen’s journey into the world of hospitality and tourism was sparked by her innate passion for creating unforgettable experiences. However, it was her love affair with wine that truly set her on a remarkable path. Maureen's journey has been defined by a commitment to excellence and a thirst for knowledge. In 2013, she achieved a milestone in her career by obtaining her Sommelier certification, marking the beginning of her illustrious journey into the world of wine.
Driven by a desire to share her passion with others, Maureen co-founded a women's wine club, providing a supportive and inclusive space for enthusiasts to explore and celebrate the complexities of wine. This initiative not only fostered a sense of community but also served as a platform for Maureen to hone her skills as a wine educator.
Throughout her career, Maureen has worked with several prestigious wine distributors, immersing herself in the world of wine and honing her knowledge of a diverse array of varietals and regions. Her dedication to her craft has also led her to become one of a select few with a Certified Sherry Wine Specialist designation. Her expertise doesn't stop there. With an extensive understanding of French wines and a flair for making even the most intimidating wine characteristics approachable, she has become renowned for her ability to cater to both novice enthusiasts and seasoned connoisseurs alike.

Driven by a desire to deepen his expertise, Mike pursued formal training in oenology and viticulture, earning his certification as a sommelier. With over a decade of experience as a certified sommelier, he became known for his impeccable palate, keen understanding of different grape varieties, and mastery of cellar management.
In 2012, Mike decided to take his passion to the next level by founding a boutique wine shop in the heart of Tampa Bay. His vision was to curate a selection of exceptional wines from around the world, providing enthusiasts with a personalized and unforgettable experience. The boutique quickly gained a reputation for its carefully curated collection, knowledgeable staff, and commitment to excellence.
